FAQ

Do you clean vehicle interiors?

Super Speed Wash provides exterior express car wash services, which give your vehicle the same high quality wash as a full service car wash at a fraction of the price.

We're able to keep costs low by providing unlimited self service vacuuming included with every wash -- no fumbling for quarters, and no rush.

How often should I wash my car?

Weekly. Washing once a week will properly maintain the paint and exterior of your vehicle.

I prefer to wash my car myself, why should I use Super Speed Wash?

Car enthusiasts often say they prefer to wash their cars themselves. This time consuming ritual is, for many, a way to ensure the job is "done right."

However, before washing your car yourself, there are a few things you should know:

  1. When you wash your car in your driveway, you are washing chemicals directly into your community's rivers, lakes, and streams.
  2. Hand washing vehicles generally uses about 100 to 150 gallons of water per car, where as Super Speed Wash's computer controlled washing uses between 30 and 45 gallons of water per car.
  3. Super Speed Wash uses mild micro fiber cloth and properly diluted chemicals that won't harm your car's finish. Harsh over the counter chemicals can be abrasive and over time actually damage your car's paint.
  4. Finally, over time the rags, towels, and sponges you use on your vehicle collect tiny bits of "grit," which can become embedded in the cloth you use to wash your car. These can be more harmful than chemicals, and can chip away at your car's finish.

Is the quality of the car wash good, especially for such little money?

Absolutely! And we guarantee it! Just because we don't charge as much as the other guy, doesn't mean we're not as good. In fact, we think we're better. Let us show you

What are your hours?

During the summer, we are open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Our winter hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We generally follow the sun, and stay open during daylight hours.

What types of payment do you accept?

Super Speed Wash accepts cash, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Fast Track wash cards.

Fast Track customers receive a 20% wash discount as well as online tracking and payment options.

What's the difference between brushless and touchless car washes?

Super Speed Wash uses a brushless process, which employs the latest in car wash technology -- micro fiber cloth that gently cleans your car without risk of scratches posed by older car washes.

Many gas stations and self serve car wash companies offer touchless washes that do not directly contact your car. However, in order for touchless washes to clean your car, these washes must rely on harsh acid-based chemicals and high pressure water, which can be hard on your car's finish.

Will my antenna be damaged in the car wash?

Factory parts are generally fine to go through the car wash.

However, aftermarket products (e.g. CB and cell phone antennas) should be removed before going through any car wash.

Our trained staff is on the look out for any parts that may present a problem, but if you have questions about your car, please bring it to our attention before entering the wash, and we'll ensure you're taken care of.
